The adventure started in the jungle and then we were going on through the jungle. on With the story... the jungle i was curious around the jungle and found mason and the tiger and a Sharp
stick. “where are we?” Jaime said. “were in the jungle” and then we saw a monster. but we found a lost tiger and we kept the tiger as a pet and took him home.

My Science Inquiry 2021

Ty and Miihaea and I are learning how does the moon make tides.
We started gathering our answers to our questions on a google doc and changed to a google slide because it was easier.
My questions were:
What are tides?
How does the moon make tides?
The 3 most interesting things i learnt
Tides are caused by the gravitational forces exerted on the earth by the moon.
The earth rotational force are the two main factors that cause high and low tides.
It is a pull between the moon gravity and Earth that makes tidal force which pushes on the earth and makes waves.
I worked with Ty and Miihaea because I wanted to make another friend.
I am proud of how hard I worked and how much I helped my team.
The most challenging was not having Ty here to help me for 2 weeks.

today we looking at an egg and how it could represent the Earth. The shell is the crust the egg white was a like the mantle. The grey arc was just like that outer core and the yolk was just like that the inner core.

Gazing around in a state of awe and wonder, the astronaut stood and admired what he saw. Outer space was a thing of pure beauty: a never-ending chasm of blackness, illuminated by stars that sparkled like beautiful diamonds.
He took a few steps forward, smiling at the joy of the feeling of weightlessness that never ceased to amaze him. Happy that his oxygen levels were high and his friends were close by, the astronaut set about his mission.
All seemed to be going well, but then the warning alarm on the ship sounded…

Me and Louis were doing temperature. We did weather temperatures today we see what is hot and cold. We tried melting ice with cold water and hot. Water sticking it in the fridge and using sugar and salt. The hot water melted the ice the quickest. Second was The cold water. lastly was the ice in the fridge. We don't know what happened with the salt and sugar yet.
Favourite part- playing with the poi in the start of the day .
Big challenges- capture the flag because it's hard to try to get a goal.

This week we tried the school lunches. Some were good, some were not that good. I enjoyed the croissant because I had ham and cheese in it. Four of them I liked, but 3 I did not really like.
We walked the bridle path because we want it experience how hard it was for the Europeans to walk the bridle path.On the way up it was hard but on my way down it was so easy.I use resilience because I've never gave up.
I have been learning about all of the clothing since the 1850s all the way to 2020.I have made a timeline and skipped each sense.I have noticed all of the clothing is different in each way.
For our inquiry about belonging and New Zealand History, I have chosen to find out about how clothing has changed since the 1850s. Here is my research.
At first break we played man Hunt.
At second break I played man Hunt again but we got every one.
Last break we played on the bikes.
Shared Writing
Kehu and Brunner went on a journey to try to reach Milford sound from Nelson. They had another guide and Kehu and the other guides wife with them.
They were travelling through the bush along a river called the Buller river. The water was deep and the bush was dense. It looked like a jungle.
The journey was rough and hard. They had to make a raft to go down the river. They made harakeke ropes to help them climb up and down the cliffs.
When their food ran out, they ate rats and fern roots. They had to eat Brunner’s dog! Eventually, they only had seaweed to eat.
They travelled for 6 months before Kehu said they can’t go any further because it was too dangerous. Brunner decided to carry on alone until a wave smashed him into the rocks and he sprained his ankle. After three weeks, he could walk again and he decided to go back home.
He met the others on the way back and they went back to Nelson. On the way, Brunner had a stroke and the others wanted to leave him behind to die but Kehu would not do that. He helped him to get back to Nelson.
He got an award from the Queen.
The best thing in the holidays was clip and climb and my family went to with me.
The worst thing what happened in the holidays was my mum broke her laptop.
I have lots of fun at dodge ball because I got ever on out. we play Doge ball and I got everyone out.
On the school holidays I went to prize giving of rugby medals player of the year and most .
in play of the bay.
I learn today how to make a draw on a Chromebook enjoy made it so you can like get shapes in the face.
we picked up fruit every that thing that the garden.
I saw the rats in my house stealing cheers.

School foods
The school food was not Good yesterday's school food was Good. I always eat the school foods.
I am glad they give you food to trying so much new foods.
